Low Stomach Acid

Anyone have any experience with low stomach acid. Looking at taking Betaine HCL with pepsin to help with this. I tried the baking soda/water test, add 1/4 tsp baking soda to 8 oz of water in the morning and no burping after 5 minutes. Tried it a number of days with same result.

Can low stomach acid be causing symptoms?

opugirl - i edited ONLY to change links to hyperlinks.


To do that you put a [ url ] in front of the link (but without the spaces - if I don't put spaces , it will try to make a hyperlink out of my instructions.

Then put a [ /url ] at the end of your link. (again without the spaces)

I would try a low dose of niacin. Don't get slow release/no flush and start with 250mgs or less. It's super good for you and will definitely make you herx too.
