Hello,

Couple of questions, any recommendations on a llmd in CT,MA,NH,NY,RI? Possibly with cardiac experience or willing and able to test for all the co-infections? And one that will prescribe IV abx if needed?

Hello, trekkar - welcome to our community!

I do have LLMD's listed for some, maybe all of the States you mentioned....but I hope you get a recommendation from one of our members here...as I don't have experience with any on my list.

If you do want some names from my list- send me an email. But, then you need to call the office and ask if IV abx is available.

I do know of a LLMD in Washington,DC (probably too far for you to travel) - who does do IV abx...but not sure about his cardiac experience. BUT, he is one of the more experienced, knowledgeable LLMD in the U.S. So I think he would have had lyme patients with cardiac involvement.
I did read that he is willing to work with other specialists that are involved in the client's care.

Hopefully tomorrow morning, you will have some replies from other members.

Thanks Girlie, I sent you an email

If it's lyme or Co-infections then I think I got it June/July 2017. Tested twice and both negative.
Symptoms:

Had 2 or 3 days of hit like a truck feeling.
Fatigue, weak, weight loss, muscle twitches, headaches, stiff neck. Most come and go except for the chest pain, high heart rate, upper back sorta tingles and chest tightness.

September 2017 started having chest pain and high heart rate with very simple tasks.
Took 30 days of Doxy 300mg and no more symptoms except very light dull chest pain. Maybe back to 80%
Had a chemical stress PET test done a couple of weeks later and right after new it was back. My EKG changed after the test, heart rate back up and chest pain.

I've been on Ceftin and Malarone for the pass 25 days. Feel slightly better not much maybe 30% to 35%. Hoping to try IV ceftriaxone next.

Is there something else I should or could take while on ceftriaxone for a possible co infection? Either abx or herbal?

Not sure if these links will work and I know it's not the EM rash but it's what i saw about 2 weeks before crashing. I do live and work in tick infested areas. Had numerous cardiac scans PET,MRI,CT,echo, holter monitor and all looks relatively fine.

That does look like it could be a tick bite.

Malarone is a med used for the coinfection Babesia.

Are you taking probiotics daily? This is really important when you’re taking antibiotics.

And - detoxing? This will help flush out the toxins created by the dieoff of bacteria.
When the toxins build up, it causes inflammation and results in an increase in symptoms and even new symptoms will appear.

I am taking probiotics but after reading more about them I finally ordered some that need to be refrigerated. Also started with the lemon water, dry brushing and just got some epsom salt to try.

Anyone know if DR. S in Bridgeport or DR. K in Orange do Igenex testing? And IV antibiotics?

I have an appt with my current llmd in 2 weeks, if they still don't want to go the IV antibiotic route is there something I could suggest for high heart rate with very little exertion and chest pain/tightness?

They have me on 250mg of Azithromycin and malarone. which I feel is a step back from the Ceftin and malarone the month before.

Azithromycin causes heart issues so be careful. I have you same issues and mine is coming down with lauricidin and you can use it with any meds. But I am new at this so only letting you know. Also serotonin is what is happening that is causing the heart issues. Get your gut right it will help with serotonin or some take 5htp but can be dangerous

Did your Dr. discuss trying Mepron for the Babesia...it's a higher dosage of the atovaquone that's in the Malarone.

And, it can be taken with Ceftin (that's what I am currently taking - Mepron, Ceftin and Minocycline on a pulsed protocol)
