Just looking into even more herbs I could add to a potential bartonella protocol.

His original bart protocol? or his current one?

There's one on the buhner website....and then there's the updated one in his Bartonella book.



some buhner herbs for bart: Japanese Knotweed, sida acuta, houttuynia/isatis/alchornea cordifolia

Some others that are good for support: Hawthorne (heart/cardiovascular), Red Root (lymphatics)

His original protocol. I've taken some good herbs thug work well for me from his updated ones and wanna try adding in some from his old protocol since some herbs from the one give me problems.

Sandyfeet- would there be any alternatives for sida acuta ? It stimulates me too much and I'm afraid that not having it in my protocol would make healing with herbal not possible.

Buhner mentions that some people are sensitive to sida acuta and that it can make symptoms worse. But I think he still recommends it, just at a reduced dosage. Can you tolerate 1 drop at a time? Then increase slowly...?

Sandyfeet- The herbs you included can be substituted for the sida as long as they have the same function within the body? Are there herbs that can be substituted for hawthorn?

It’s not a herb and I’m not Sandyfeet ..... tongue


...but CoQ10 is good for the heart.
