Crazy heat causing herxes?

So I'm in the Northeast and we've had some crazy heat over the weekend and the next couple of days. I was outside ALOT over the weekend for some family functions and I was pretty much sweating the entire two days.

The night of day one my nerves started going nuts (which is typical when I herx) and pretty much all day Sunday.

Does this type of exposure to heat and/or lots of sweating induce this type of reaction from the body? Anyone else have this phenomenon happen?

I also stopped a buttload of meds on Friday and sometimes I will get a reaction to stopping them 24-48 hours after so could be this also.

Tough to unwind patterns when you have multiple things going on!

Spirochetes in general don't like heat, also as Mark said heat can have pretty serious effects even on healthy people!

Saunas are good for detoxing which is recommended as long as one is healthy enough-all day I think could initiate a herx. Hope you feel better tomorrow. It is hot as heck here. We were out at the park today before 9 and sweating like pigs. By 11am we had to get indoors.

Rikky, the heat and sun definitely causes me to herx. I have to be very careful not to get too much exposure.

i've never had this problem even the past 3 summers having this disease so wondering if something else is amiss. it really sucks and there's nothing i can do to stop it i just have to ride it out.

this was like a 36 hour herx so i must've either pissed off or killed the bugs off. i've had this happen to me when having a few drinks of high proof alcohol as well.

there is a treatment modality out there that uses alcohol consumption. people say alcohol is terrible for your liver then again how are those antibiotics and other meds doing to your liver?
