I read it can interfere with lyme. My new llmd found my Melano stimulating hormone was low.

Yes, there have been posts on here about
it. You could do a search for them above. Just put "Lyme Marcons" in the search box.
Also hopefully others with more knowledge about
this will chime in soon.
Take care.

kct,
You have CIRS from mold, too, right? Low MSH is pretty much a given with CIRS.
Did you test positive for MARCONS?

I am interested in this because i have sexual dysfunction and am suspecting that msh/melanocortin/alpha msh is related. I read that it is related to tanning and my skin tone can lighten and darken within days without sun exposure. There is a company Palatin tech trying to get an alpha msh peptide approved for female sex dysfunction, and anecdotal reports on youtube have male experimenters reporting big libido surge with msh research product. This experimenting must be risky though. I am very interested because i read that the MC3R gene (related to melanocortin) interacts with phenylpropanaolime (ppa) an ingredient that used to be in cold medicine here in the usa but was banned due to an alleged risk of stroke in women. I know i used to have a strange reaction to cold medecines containing it before including massive libido surge.
I really need to read about
marcons if it related to msh
If anyone can please post more information.
