I'm looking to get tested for coinfections through MD Labs bc I've never been tested for any and am a little worried about some recent new symptoms, but when I asked them which coinfections tests they recommend, they said it generally goes by geography, and that I should look at the CDC website or my state's department of health website and look to see what is being reported.
I'm not sure where I got lyme. Most likely Nor Cal, but possibly Oregon, or maybe Wisconsin from when I lived there previously and still visit.
Any advice about how to narrow this down? Given that lyme is highly underreported, I worry that the coinfections would be the same. I assume they don't want people spending money on tests they don't need but I am unsure about how to proceed.
