Has anyone had any luck with being treated with IVIG?

I haven't had it done but i have heard a pretty good track record of it

I haven't done it but I absolutely believe personalized medicine is the way of the future. Is this treatment specific for lyme antibodies or is it just someone elses plasma?

Just someone elses plasma. I had it for another condition and it seemed to help with some of the lyme symptoms, so i didnt know if that was a potential treatment

i know the Pediatric LLMD (Dr. J in Connecticut) has some of his patients use it with good results.

I've heard it's very expensive.

I tried to get it but for insurance to cover i think small fiber neuropathy is a dx where ivig is used ...my llmd has sq ivig very pricey and said it can cause more inflammation if treatment is not complete . Also it is made from others blood so there is a risk .

One of my fav bvt utoobs, a lady tosses 20k of ivig in the trash for a few bees ....
