I had a really bad and a really good day today.
This morning and early afternoon, I had the worst migraine I've had in a while. It was another of what I call the Triple Threat - headache with belching and nasal congestion. This time it started with passing gas. The belching was so bad, I took 2 GasX. It helped but didn't stop it. Finally, at lunch time I took a migraine pill. By that time, I was wanting to eat lunch but was nauseaous. After about
45 minutes, it lifted and I could eat.
After that, I felt really good for a few hours.
Later in the evening, I was driving home in heavy traffic and had burning on my tongue and the back of my throat. Once the traffic cleared out, I felt relief, so I thought it was chemical sensitivities to exhaust fumes. I also wondered if it was reflux symptoms, as that seems to have flared over the past week. Been sleeping sitting up for a week now.
I was watching a movie tonight on TV around 9 o'clock. All of a sudden, my vision got shaky. It only lasted a split second, but it was freaky. A few seconds later, I felt an itchy burning sensation on both my forearms. There was just a pink area on one, but there was a real hive on the other arm. I'd never had one like that before. It was round, raised, and itchy and a little bigger around than a pencil. A minute later, a had a weird, painful sensation in the roof of my mouth. Then, my scalp on the back of my head towards my neck started feeling sore and irritated.
The hive started around 9 and I last ate around 5:30, so I wouldn't think it was food allergy. It happened right after taking all my herbs and supplements and while I was taking Natural Calm magnesium citrate.
It scared me because I don't know what happened or why. I took Meghydrate for the first time this morning. Only new thing today. That was this morning. Hive was tonight. Only other recent new thing was monolaurin. Took small doses 3 days in a row but not today or yesterday.
Anyone else have hive episodes? Why??
I did have similar things happen in 2009 when my symptoms first started.
Sunday and Tuesday ai had similar vision episodes while trying to read restaurant menus. Vision was shaky like my head was vibrating.
Just now I started belching again. A couple of times tonight I've belched or refluxed and it tasted like ashes (I don' t smoke). Don't know what that is either.
