I read something somewhere that the symptom is caused more by iron, and babesia feeding on the blood's iron causing low iron. I'm not sure though, I don't know the mechanisms and would love to hear from others if they have insights on how that dynamic works.
In regards to the monolaurin and that response I'm not sure. It could be riling up your system, killing some pathogens causing your immune system to respond more aggressively? have you treated for babesia? I don't get air hunger much anymore, except when I'm treating aggressively.
