Arent you born with your genes? If genes are the issue wouldn't everyone be sick very early in life?
Good question, and good you asked instead of instantly doubting it. To many doubt this with lack of understanding on their part.
Arent you born with your genes? yes
If genes are the issue wouldn't everyone be sick very early in life? Depends what gene. 50/50 chance
Im not saying this is the only issues, Im saying this certainly can be part of it. The majority of the population does not understand how genes work.
The different genes work differently. The ones that control your physical make up / appearance, yes those are obvious from birth.
The "health issues" genes are sometimes active at birth, some are not and make you more susceptible to illness developing., and can be "switched on/activated" (bad) by infection, inflammation, environment. Conventional medicine has known this for decades- nothing new.
Many rare disease are known to be related to certain genes, conventional medicine can test these. Ive had some done by a conventional genetics Dr not some alternative MD. There is even a thyroid and celicac gene, which are very accurate. I was not born with Hashimoto thyroid but it did develop after my tick bite. The kindling (gene) was genetic, the spark (lyme possibly) started the thyroid fire.
Ex: I have a clot gene. It kills some people. I was born with it. My first and only clot happened 2 years ago even though I'm in my early 50's. - proof how this works. Im in good physical shape, its all body chemistry that I cant control, only watch for the sighns as you can feel a clot in your limbs, as I did and went to ER. Knowing about
this gene ahead of time, I suspected what was going on- and saved my life possibly instead of going to bed - and having a stroke.
