My gut health was never the best. This is where my LLMD focused for three months prior to ABX. Pretty much paid attention to it since by eliminating certain foods. Going to focus even more in this area soon.
We've read about
different food health diets (not weight diets). Since food sensitivities can have gut inflammation associate with them, this is good to know for some people. There's a lot of guessing you need to do, I got tired of that. A healthy gut means better nutrients will be absorbed. Im hoping to improve protein levels, immune cells, and immunoglobulins this way.
Seen a health insurance covered dietician who deals with this sort of thing, tests for it, and makes an incremental food plan. The test (MRT) assigns a numerical value of your inflammation factor to certain foods, in their food groups. Its a fancy elimination diet, wait till you feel better, then add at intravels in the plan, and note how you feel again.
The interesting part is what foods you might have inflammation to- its not always the "popular/ well known" ones.
**Cane sugar, corn, cinnamon and turkey were my worst, I had no idea. Yes, turkey, strange, I thought turkey was good for everyone. Wheat and dairy were up there too (obvious to me and a past daily staple), but not as high.**
Bakers Yeast is up there too, so much for beer, wine, and apparently any bread with bakers yeast. So nearly gluten free sourdough bread still has yeast in it, bummer.
No tomatoes, or white potatoes for me but peppers are fine (and still a night shade ha ha).
A few others to, caffeine being in the middle. I understand how coffee beans being acidic can be inflammatory, but how is caffeine itself inflammatory to me?..odd.
Im not trying this for a few weeks yet, then each step is only 10 days long, with four steps. Apparently when you take the guessing out, they have proven felt reaction, body pain, tiredness ect becomes more obvious. I will find out .
It was mentioned that just because a food cause inflammation in you now, it might not months or years later. That said, the worst ones might be forever.
No end to goggling.
