Goooood morning everyone.
This question is for the ladies who dye their hair.....
What products do u use? Do u go with non toxic dyes? Or do u use the regular stuff?
Thanx again!

I have heard good things about
hairprint. I am blonde and they don’t offer it for red or blonde at the moment. So I currently do highlight/lowlight about
every 10-12 wks.

I poison myself with the regular hair dyes......I have some greys coming in .....otherwise I wouldn't.
I no longer go to the salon though.

I go every 4 weeks to a salon that uses Surface and Keune hair color. They are as gentle as you can’t get, without totally going natural using Henna dyes, which are easily found and it’s cheap.

I did it for many years. The last few years I dyed, I had plenty of warning signs - burning scalp, inflammation at the base of my head/neck. I switched salons and dye brands and had less reactions but kept losing hairdressers, so I switched again. The 2nd try after that switch got me itchy bumps on one side of my face from scalp to jawline. Itchy, swollen, painful, embarrasing. Took a month to get rid of bumps and pain. Stupid dermatologist didn't believe it was from the dye. It was. There was no other ptobable factor involved.
I quit at that point - age 45 at what I thought was 40-60% gray. Let my roots grow out to an inch or more. Got all the dyed hair cut out. Much to my surprise (and relief), my hair was almost entirely gray with more of a white on top. It suits me well. I have NO REGRETS. You should try it. Really. Women should stop being ashamed of natural aging.
