Ive been prediabetic, have studied / understand the symptoms and chemistry of it, manage it, and in my opinion lyme may have done its part in my case since I also have autoimmune issues.
That said, Its not totally clear to me how your asking about
diabetes symptoms without mentioning them specifically. Your energy level is usually affected and noticed as it can go up and down with changing sugar levels.
Feeling terrible or "sick" after eating an apple would not necessarily be a diabetes symptom. Apples are not that high in sugar compared to the more tropical fruits.
Every diabetic has some blood sugar values that are out of range. A fasting blood sugar test is just the easiest to see something is wrong, but the more accurate method is testing with a home meter before and after different foods.
Digestive yeast / candida overgrowth can give you a bloated and tired feeling after most fruits and carbs. This is not uncommon with people here, something to look into.
