From what I’ve read - you absorb only a little mag from Epsom salt baths.
Btw - an md told me to take mag glycinate and I could take higher doses with no loose stools.
This was a few years ago and I was taking a higher dose - can’t remember how high I went but it was prob at least 1200 mg daily
