Hey guys...and gals : ) I don't know why people discredit (however anecdotal mixed with some actual lunar science) accounts of emotional and health problems during full moons. I actually think moonlight is beautiful and mesmerizing, the way it hits the ground and trees..visually anyway as long as I don't get those weird halos like I do sometimes.

I can't help but feel that my symptoms get markedly worse during this, and others before it, yes full moons!

I've been feeling like a fibromyalgic vampire for the past few days... aches, pains, tired more than usual, every symptom increased, depression, the works.

I liken it to the fact that certain crime increases in the hotter summer months (because yes believe it or not, temperature can change your mood for the worse. It is science.)

The moon's gravitational effect on the earth's tides, and to a relative degree, homeostasis of fluid bodies inside you and the billions of micro-organisms you play host to, are affected by these orbital fluctuations of heavenly bodies. Why would they not?

It just irritates me that people don't include science in their refutations, be they superstitious or not.

Now Astrology? That's a whole different animal and can of worms!

I think we should be thinking Astronomy, Astrophysics, because now that I think of it, the Earth is really just a really (relatively speaking, compared to other asteroids) smooth and spherically-shaped asteroid-turned-planet with water on it...but I digress.

Yes every single full moon has been awful for me. This one too. The symptoms you're describing are pretty typical for a full moon. Stay strong.

Do you have a lot of psych symptoms, Rainy cloud?

I wonder if it's psych symptoms that are extra vulnerable to the full moon. What's the method of action there?

Have those who are affected thoroughly treated parasites? If you haven't, it would probably help something. I never thought I had parasites and not obvious symptoms. Stool tests were negative. I have on several occasions expelled stuff that looks like various forms of ropeworm. I've had significant symptom improvement after those expulsions.

I did a fairly prolonged parasite & liver cleanse a couple years ago but didn't see any improvements. I was just using herbals though so it may not have been strong enough

I carefully documented my symptoms before I knew what my mystery health issue was. I compared my symptom flare cycle to the moon cycle and found no correlation. My symptoms flared almost like clockwork every 28 days or so. I am a male BTW

When I first started charting symptoms it was near a new moon cylce, but started to drift over time as the lunar cycle is closer 30 days.

This was pretty compelling data for me that the moon played little to no role with my flares. After about a year, the flares were landing around full moons. But then they will slowly drift away from the full moon cycle with each passing month.

It would be a tall order to prove that the grav pull of the moon affects phisiological properties

around this time of the year, and around early-to-mid spring, I feel good. But right after that (Mid-Oct, November and June,July,Aug) Im basically stuck unable to function, barely able to do laundry/dishes and go out once a month

the full moon totally hit me hard the other day, I hit back with minocycline and amoxicillin, felt better, today not good. This is also a Moxidectin week, and that one always kicks my butt so I assumed it was the Moxidectin, but now that you point out the full moon I think that had to be it to.

I have no full moon symptoms and I tend to find the suggestion of things of this nature absolutely preposterous, however I'm absolutely sure of one thing...

If the suspension of such a belief makes ones subjective experience less bearable I will fight a war to allow you to hold on to those beliefs no matter mine.

I also wanted to say that I take such solace in reading all of your experiences. My journey in this life is marked by the connections I have and reading what y'all write allows me to connect with each of you.

Huh? Are you saying that because you don't experience it then it doesn't exist? I'm not saying i have any scientific evidence of what the cause is but i almost always have a notable increase in psych symptoms when 3 days before and 3 days after a full moon
