Night tremors- scared

I posted recently about a new symptom, shaking feeling at night that wakes me up and I since learnt they are night tremors, they are really freaking me out. I have since added gou teng and burber-pinella to my herbal treatment but it’s made no difference yet.

What should I do? For the last 2 days I haven’t taken any herbs thinking there may be too many toxins, I have upped my detoxing, should I start back slowly on my herbs or am I not taking enough hence the new symptom so should I increase the dose to where I was?

Does this mean my herbs are not enough and I should consider abx?

For those of you taking amitryptiline be wary of tinnitus, it can worsen or cause it as a side effect. The good news is once you stop it goes away pretty fast (it did for me). So if that one doesn’t work for you ask your doctor about an alternative.

I used to have this "vibrating" sensation while waking up, hearing my own heart beat, shaking in the rhytm of pulse etc. In my case it wasn't actual shaking, but the sensation of it.

My naturopath recommended I start lion's mane for nerve support. It really seems to be helping, so far so good. B12 is also important, detoxification (for me sauna and epsom salt baths are most effective, with chlorella). And also, please if you have mold sensitivity, please make absolutely sure there isn't a slightest trace of mold around you - i.e. a jar with fermenting food somewhere in the corner that's got some mold in it, a small coffee machine that could potentially have mold inside, a little bit of mold around windowpane.. Something that could seem insignificant. I only recently realised how much this drives my inflammation, when I would get worse "for no reason" I see now it was mold...

Thank you all so much zimica you hit the nail on the head, I don’t really know if it’s shaking, my heart, vibrating, I will order some lions mane, I don’t know about mold maybe I should get tested. Also need to increase number of Epsom baths, how many do you take?

I have just received some motherwart too, not sure if that’s going to help but this making my anxiety shoot through the roof

Yeah I’ve been worried about my heart and my brain!! Thinking all sorts of things! I will get some lions mane and I just checked my CoQ10 and it’s not the right type so will order more of that too

Thank you thank you thank you astroman!! I’m going to order some now!! I’ve heard of holy basil but don’t know too much, but hey i guess it can’t do any harm. The lithium orotate I assume is available over the counter if it’s a supplement. Will have a read on that now.

Just looked them up and can get both from amazon. My parents actually have a holy basil plant at home I wonder if I could use the leaves as a tea.

Another thing to note if you are looking into ubiquinol or CoQ10 is the absorption. A form that is water and fat-soluble absorbs better.

Lithium orotate is sometimes used to help B vitamins become better absorbed once in the body. You may want to take a look at your B vitamin status and absorption. Of course, speak with a doctor about your supplements before starting a new regimen.

Besides coq10 - an herb that is good for heart/cardiovascular system is Hawthorn.

Woodland Essence makes a good quality one - it actually tastes good

Thank you all, girlie no I haven’t had them tested, my llmd charges a small fortune for every little test so I’m I’ve just stopped all tests other than regular blood test.

When I ran out of the WE Hawthorne - I went to my local health food store and bought a bottle - it was a small company so I figured good quality,

It tasted horrible - bitter
I threw it out.

I realized then how different the quality can be.

That should be the one .
