Ok so I skipped the rifampin after reading the mino and bb, because I have head issues so today is second day but my first dose about 6 hrs in the head tingled and felt pressure, and became some dizziness and fluey like feeling, same all day today and my shins got a cold sensation on the front for about four hrs. Never really herxes before other then anxiety so I hope this is herx and a sign this mino is working great. I have taking months of doxy and nothing but candida so mino defineatly seems good for those critters. Detoxed with sauna tonight and fell slight better but the pressure is back but I can walk not feeling drunk. Thanks to all for any input and I pray you all get healed.

Yes today was so what better weak legs, neck crunching when I move it new symptom, not as dizzy and it feels like my head is clearing. Feel off balance like going to fall or walk into walls etc. any of this seem normal? I read it here a lot hope these go always soon. Once I get stable I will add the riffy. Pray we all get our healing

Mino has helped many patients with neuro lyme due to it's penetration of blood brain barrier. You might want to try stevia tincture or even xylitol to help heighten it's potential, penetrating through biofilms.

Mino is a great antibiotic, I couldn't tolerate it to well being it would screw up my equilibrium and made me so dizzy where I couldn't function normal. Roxithromycin, dapsone, and disulfiram became better alternatives for me.

And yes, you definitely sound like you're herxing. Just keep at it, hoping everyone gets healed as well.

I found mino “hit”my head pretty hard - I was off-balance and head was fuzzy.
But that side effect did get better after being on it for awhile.

It’s a good antibiotic for Lyme treatment.

So some of the symptoms can be side effects - rather than herxing and improve with time.

Update: day seven and man this drug hits hard in the brain, dizziness, balance issues, tingling in brain, pressure, etc but today i feel a big improvement i fought on through it i did epsom foot soaks, ir suana and i found oit two days ago that benedryl helps the balance and dizziness issue bigtime. I actually am laughing again. Fingers crossed this continues upward, love you all and pray we all find our healing!!

Forgot to post taking lauricidin one scoop 2x a day and mino, and acv 2tbls a day. And allimax garlic once a day, and lumbrokinase once a day and seems like a lot of good is starting to break my way!!

Mino gave me super strong headaches and neuropathy flare when I first took it. Surprised me because I've been on a lot of meds and hadn't herxed like that in a while. Quite an effective drug, I'm glad to hear you are seeing improvement with it!!!

Yes, that's true. It's a small molecule.

I had the most incredible herx on minocycline. Just the word makes me nauseous.

I’ve been on Mino for 13 days now but still not a major Herx hmmm. I herxed really badly on Bactrim only.

Really Donjr? I feel like my symptoms are more Bart hmmm. I see my lyme doctor tomorrow so we’ll see if she has any suggestions.

I’m not sure but something in the persister protocol got deep into my head.
I was taking dapsone, daraprim, Rifabutin, and Ceftin.

The 5 days in a row week I did - almost went to ER.
I had a seizure type reaction - arms/hands were jerking and couldn’t control them. High fever. High heart rate and full body pain for over 12 hours.
My head (scalp) was very sore to touch for several days after stopping it.
Took a whole week to fully recover.

Wow girlie I am so sorry you had to endure that crap. Any ideas what caused it? Severe herx but I need to scan a doc my dr gave me and you need to read it about how herx actually hurt u more then a sign of help. Stresses the organs etc. I also found the doc in several other web sites and lots of dr use it. Better to stop a dose then to herx really hard. But lots of other stuff in it too. May be of use. Love ya praying for you.

Yes - I do know a bad herx isn’t good for the body... but it’s not always apparent when you’re at that point.

I didn’t react like that on the first ‘round’ so thought I was handling it okay.
And the second round wasn’t too bad until that last day.

I have pulled back a bit now - with dosing the dapsone and daraprim for only three days instead of five.

My main concern now is my kidney function.

One more round to go in a couple of weeks.
