I had the ear pain and pressure while on azithromycin and mepron/atovaquone for babesia, I was never certain if it was the meds or the herx. The effect lasted for more than a month after stopping those meds, but I was taking other meds like minocycline and herbs which also kill babesia. At the moment (3 years later) I'm taking mino and sida acuta, and have mild ear pain again.
The leak in the ceiling could be coming from an old flashing around one of the vent pipes in the roof, whatever it is that needs to be repaired.
There are a lot more supplements you could trial for the fatigue and brain fog. Methylation, mitochondria, and the adrenals need extra support during illness, especially if you have genetic mutations.
Methylation:
Riboflavin, P5P, methyl-folate and B12, TMG, B6, CoQ10, carnitine, lecithin, choline, electrolytes
Mitochondria:
Nicotinamide, carnitine, d-ribose, CoQ10, creatine (dangerous)
Adrenals:
Holy basil, rhodiola, ashwagandha, magnolia bark, reishi, tulsi, serine
Ask your doctor about supplementing, some of these could be harmful if you need less, and the dosing varies by individual. Magnesium sterate isn't well absorbed, there are other forms like malate which are.
I've always wondered about
support supplements. A few people I know said vitamins always make them feel better. But except for vitamin c and zinc, most other vitamins didn't help me too much. I wonder if it's a gene or something else that makes some people need to take vitamins more than others.
