Has anyone ever taken Niacin (b3) here where you get the Niacin flush?

I have been taking for about a week and had the Niacin flush.. but this time I took last night.. had the flush and my face is still burning (not severley) today 12 hours later.. it's really freaking me out as an anxious person

My question is has anyone ever taken Niacin.. had the flush and it's continued for this long??

Really need some calming advice!! sad

I don't know much about this but most things I'm reading seem to say it's harmless. It does sound like yours is lasting a bit longer than the usual episode, is it getting better as time goes by?

My husband used to take niacin - and would get the flush.

Over time -(continual usage) the length of time it lasted reduced

Did you take a higher amount this last time?

Niacin is supposed to kill off candida pretty quickly at high doses. I have not tried it though because the flush comes from a release of histamines and I have some degree of histamine intolerance.
