"I did IV and didn't notice any difference. I've recently been working with Bob Miller (genetics) and he says to be very careful with iron. You can have some genetic variations that look like you are low in iron but it is really just getting stuck in your cells. Supplementing can make you worse."
k07, this is what I was going to say. I've heard the connection between the iron getting stuck in your cells. That's the whole reason I haven't supplemented with iron even though mine has been low.
How long have you been working with Bob? I plan to see him probably in March. I'd be interested in hearing your experience with him.
It has been pretty good. Supplements are pricey though. I was pleased that our follow up consultations were only $45.
I’m on two glutamate scavenger products which seem to help me sleep. His latest research is about
Nad+ and sirtuins. I guess I have a lot of variations there so he is hoping this will be the smoking gun for me. We’ll see about
that. If it doesn’t help then I am thinking of just consulting once a year and keeping up on only 4 supps - glutamate scavenger (2), hydrogen peroxide scavenger and his whole food vitamin/mineral.
