Lapis_29 do you have any thoughts on Hopkinton Drug's liposomal oil of oregano? I'm tempted to try it at some point, but it's a bit pricey so I've been holding off.
its just regular oregano oil dissolved in oil with some emulsifiers

Ingredients: Oil of Oregano from Origanum Minutiflorum 150mg Extract
Other ingredients: Olive Oil, Sunflower Lecithin, Edetate Calcium Disodium,Glycerol Monosterate, Silica, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Water, Dimethicone, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) Capsules and Gellan Gum.
there is nothing in there that is gong to make it absorb better than you just putting some drops of oregano oil in some coconut oil.
It has both lipoic acid and Edetate Calcium Disodium, both of which are chelators, not sure why they put those in there? If you want to chelate then do so, not sure why they would mix it in with the oregano.
then it has several emulsifiers like Glycerol Monosterate. Not sure that will really make a big difference in bio availability or not.
I mean if it works for someone, great. But I dont see the need to pay that much. ZANE HELLAS oregano oil on amazon is pretty inexpensive and very good.
Dimethicone? why is that in there?
