Happy Holidays everyone,
I haven’t posted in a while. I am feeling much better, but not 100%. I think I know why some people don’t post when they feel better- they don’t want to jinx it, or just want to forget everything about that nightmare. (at least I do anyway). I can tell you my story, but I am the last person who should give advice. My story so far is, I got bit (could have been anytime (was a landscaper), but I remember a bad one behind my ear about 10 yrs ago), the symptoms came roaring in during a time of great stress, I saw a Lyme Dr, took 2 years of abx, (pills and IV), had a seizure, switched to herbs for 3 years, developed a bad all-over rash, stopped all meds on the orders of my skin dr, (interesting side note, she told me chronic Lyme was a “wastebasket disease” meaning people throw all their weird symptoms they have into one disease and call it Lyme? I didn’t argue, I was in too much misery): my rash finally subsided after 6 months, now I am not taking any meds or herbs, not eating any junk, meat, bread, or dairy. I still have vertigo, ataxia, and fatigue, but at least I am out of bed (bedridden for 5 years) I also had bad acid reflux into my throat, have scar tissue in there probably, and can’t talk too much. I don’t even walk on grass anymore; screw nature LOL. Maybe the strong meds knocked it back, and the herbs knocked it back more. Who knows. But I am always on guard for any relapse. I hope you all can get better, and have a better 2019!
