Two of my aunts have this... I'm worried there's some sort of genetic thing going on. Also want to help them. Anybody familiar.

Have your Aunts been evaluated by any Specialists? If so, was were there any findings or diagnoses? If not, that would seem like a reasonable first step.

THANKYOU... Yes they have been evaluated and it may be menieres but may not . It is ongoing/ recurrent severe vertigo. I was just digging to see if there could be a bacterial or viral or other situation. I have Lyme my father had ms... so I tend to look for a cause that is overlooked in mainstream ... thought maybe there could be a link or clue as you guys tend to be aware of the overlooked.

Mine was linked to the vascular and nerve health of inner ear caused by bartonella. And i got it congenitally not genetically
