Parasites

Hi everyone, I am pretty clueless on the topic of parasites but I have been reading a lot about them on this board. A lot of the symptoms they cause are very similar to my symptoms, these including derealization, chronic body pain, anxiety and migraines, which all flare up durring a full moon. If anyone doesn't know my background I was bite by an insect in Ocotber which caused an EM rash and I have been treating with minocycline ever since. I also take Flagly on Saturday and Sunday, would this combo be enough to cure me if parasites were one of my problems? I am getting a WB blood test done tomorrow but my LLMD does not think that I will have built up antibodies yet. Is there anything else I could do to help with parasites, even natural cleanses or detoxes? Thank you for your help.

Babesia and Bartonella have been tough ones to get under control. But people do it, which is a positive. Keeping stomach in check with probiotics helps me in every realm.

Thank you for the replys. Because I had to wait to get in to see a LLMD I didnt start the antibiotics until about 2-3 weeks after my bite and by that time my rash was almost gone which I have heard means the bacteria has then entered your blood. When you do a WB test for Lyme is it also testing for babes is and bartonella? I will keep going with the probiotics!

I’ve not heard that about the rash.

The WB is just for Lyme .
You need to test for Babesia and Bartonella separately.

I will have to ask my LLMD to check me for confections eventually too then. Is there a test that Can be done to see if you irradiated Lyme? Also is a EM rash always Lyme or can it be just a coinfections on its own? Thanks for your help!

Just keep in mind that the coinfection tests are even more unreliable/inaccurate than Lyme testing. Lots of false negatives.

The EM is lyme not bart or Babesia.

For parasites, I've heard good things about humaworm. I am treating the parasites right now, but to not much avail. Also, mimosa pudica is another great one. You could also pulse wormwood, but most blends are more powerful than wormwood alone. I am doing homeopathic remedies to treat, but we're not making much progress.

Girlie, It stinks that the test are so unreliable. If I try going off the antibiotics do you know how long it would be for my symptoms to come back if I didn't kill off all of the bacteria? Thanks for that info MA10, I hope the treatment starts helping you. What are your symptoms from the parasites and do you know if there is any way to test for them?

You can test for Bart and Babesia - if you get a positive - then you can look into treating that one - so a positive helps - just realize that a negative may not be true.

I tested for Bartonella after over a year of treating it - it wasn’t a known lab for tickborne disease testing - but it was inexpensive so thought I’d try. A LLND had been using the lab - I think it was $125 per infection for pcr.
I pulled a positive bart test.

How long after stopping will you get symptoms if you still have active disease? I don’t know.
Some people it’s within a couple weeks... others longer - months.
People even report years later - but who knows if it’s a relapse or a new infection?

You need to get a comprehensive parisitology stool test which will look for hundreds of parasites.

I got one done with Doctors Data recently and it detected Blastocystis Hominis.

I'm not feeling better now lol, this was many years ago. I complete the Cowden protocol and got better after 5 months of it, well about 80% better. I'm back in the can now though

Not exactly, but similar. I seem to have inflammation problems that cause weight gain unrelated to how much I eat. It's just perfect because I used to have anorexia before all this. /s (not /s about the last part)
