Do I really have Lyme/CIRS

Hello everyone I am 20 years old & from Virginia. My story began when I was 16 I started noticing episodes of mental fatigue/ brain fog. This went on for about a year while I was getting things checked out everything was coming back fine.

When I was 18 years old I moved into an apartment and this is when things turned for the worst. I woke up the next day with that “feeling” but not in shock because this was becoming normal for me but this time it didn’t go away. & it has now became a chronic symptom.

Over the next couple years I was searching for the answer & in this time I got more & more symptoms. Symptoms like

Chronic fatigue/poor stamina

Unrefreshing sleep

Insomnia

Brain fog/ poor concentration

Blank stare

Memory loss/ forgetfulness

Poor circulation

Anxiety

Depression/ suicidal thoughts

Twitching muscles. Sometimes in the face

Daytime sleepiness



I really just havnt been myself in so long. I feel like I have forgot what it’s like to be normal & have normal problems. I realize now I took advantage of good health & I would give anything to have it back.


I seen a llmd doctor a few months ago thinking maybe Lyme. She ran a few test and the things that came back abnormal are

Low testosterone

Low fsh hormone

Low vitamin d

High hemoglobin

Band 23 igg reactive

Low cd57

Low VEGF

Low msh

Also she gave me a hla gene test & the 2 genes that came up was suppose to be the worst 2 for Lyme & mold

1 being 4-3-53 - multisuseptible/chronic fatigue

2. 14-5-52b - multisuseptible

She thinks I have a mold issue on top of Lyme because of my genes & the fact that everything got worse when I moved into the apartment.


Her plan is to treat the mold for a few months then treat the Lyme.

She wanted me to call a place called greens solutions to come spray my things and home & buy some filters for my nose because I’m not certain about my work having mold. Then she gave me a huge list of detoxing stuff to clear out the mold.


I have yet got my home sprayed but what do you all think? I’ve read a lot of stuff saying some of these llmd’s are just trying to collect as much money as possible but this lady seemed like she actually cared. What do you all think of this? Does this seem like Lyme, & mold? & does her method sound like it’s gonna get me better.

I asked her how long it would take for me to get better & she told me a year or maybe a little longer.

I so badly want my life back. I feel like a zombie most days, this has just sucked the life out of me.

I wouldn’t spray my house. What’s even in the spray? Is it safe? I haven’t really heard of a spray working because often mold is behind walls or in hvac system. If there is mold you should move. Are you still in the same place when things got bad?

I would first test the house using Mycometrics (dust cloth) to see if the house is the issue.

Most mold treatment is binders & detox. Some docs do antifungal too.

Just because you have the hla gene does not automatically mean you are mold sick. However, it does seem like this could be the issue. I would read up as much as you can on the subject. Neil Nathan’s book, Toxic, is a good one that will give you good info.

I actually just moved into a place and there is no visible mold. Which I know that don’t mean much.

I know how hard it is to find a place without mold which is why I am gonna order these filters for my nose and try to wear them as much as possible.

& girli, you say band 23 is specific to Lyme. Mine came back positive as igg which is previous infection right? Why wouldn’t it be positive for current infection?


K07 from everything I’ve read on there website it seems to be legit and safe. I’m really out of options so I’m gonna go with it. It’s a bit pricey but hopefully it pays off. I would give anything for my health back.

With lyme IgM means active infection - IgG means older but can still be active.

Testing for Lyme is not very reliable/accurate - and it really is used as a backup for the clinical diagnosis.

Why spray though if you’re not sure the house has mold? IF it was from the last place then all your stuff likely is contaminated. Are you thinking you can spray every single thing you own?

Bump
