Good question. I've myself been asking myself such questions lately.
I mean... there is apparently roughly 300 000 new cases of Lyme in the USA, each year.
Where are all these sufferers? Healingwell seem like the most popular Lyme forum, and it seems that there a couple hundreds people around, at best.
I would expect so much more traffic if the pandemic is real, and more importantly, if each sufferer endure what we do?
Those 300,000 include the acute cases as well.
I’d say a large number aren’t on forums.
We have many that come here after years of suffering.
And many are told there’s nothing that can be done after a few weeks of abx.. so they don’t even pursue it.
There are groups of chronic Lyme patients that are now saying chronic Lyme can’t be effectively treated... and I’m talking about
well educated people In Lyme disease who are spreading this.
They are maintaining that it’s pointless to see a LLMD and ILADS is a farce.
