Does anyone here know of qualified LLMD's in the Western PA area? I was diagnosed through my PCP back in August but still having symptoms that don't seem to want to go away. I was also tested for co-infections and tested positive for anaplasma. Was initially on doxy for 4 weeks and then again last month for 2 weeks when I was tested for co-infections.
I'd be willing to travel a few hours but would prefer to stay local if that option is available.
Welcome, Burghson!
I’m glad you found your way here.
How long did you have symptoms before being diagnosed and treated?
6 weeks of treatment isn’t long enough for chronic Lyme unfortunately.
Just an FYI - the testing for coinfections isn’t reliable - it’s likely you also have Babesia and/or Bartonella as well.
I’m glad you are seeking a LLMD for treatment.
I do have a list of llmd’s in PA - but I hope you get responses from forum members who are seeing a LLMD in your area and can recommend one.

Good luck!Hi Girlie!
I was only having symptoms for around 3 weeks before being tested and treated with doxy. In that sense, I feel fortunate that I seem to have found this pretty quick, but I'm starting to feel like I'm missing my window for a full recovery (or at least a recovery that won't take years away from me). I also had a CD57 test that showed I was in normal ranges (my counts were around 100-110).
Thanks for the quick response I really appreciate it!
