Recurring canker sores?

For the last several months I've been getting recurring canker sores in my mouth. They last about a week disappear for a week or so and then come back. anyone know why this is happening? I have lyme and a connective tissue disorder. I'm guessing something is wrong with my immune system.

Lyme seems to make my whole digestive tract more sensitive, especially during hormonal changes. I would look into nutritional deficiencies and food sensitivities, too, and make sure your toothpaste does not contain sodium laurel sulfate. Warm sal***er rinse might help them heal faster, and clove essential oil can be both antmicrobial and numbing.

You could have a sore cultured to see if perhaps they are herpes, as outbreaks of oral herpes could be more frequent with a stressed immune system, and also treatable with lysine, olive leaf, or other antiviral therapy.
