Thanks Girlie i think i've updated my profile correctly.
My story:
I live in Boston but i was in Napa Valley on vacation wearing shorts at wineries on May 12th. I either noticed a bruise on the inside of my left leg on the evening on May 12th or the next day May 13th. Didn’t think much of it (I’m not originally from the US so I never really knew anything about
ticks and Lyme), just thought it was weird to have a bruise and not remember hitting the inside of my knee off of anything. At the time i didn't look to check to see if there was a tick (didn't even consider the possibility).
The bruise grew pretty large by Wednesday May 15th, didn’t think much of it again. Wednesday night, I woke up at 4am sweating and struggled to get back to sleep. Thursday night, went for drinks after work and had fast food late, woke up at 4am again. I wasn’t alarmed just a slightly odd occurrence. By Friday the bruise was shrinking. I don't have an accurate descript
ion of the bruise before Friday as i wasn't concerned about
it.
On Friday May 17th, I went to Physical Therapy and my Therapist asked me how I got the bruise, I said I didn’t know and now the bruise had a red patch coming out of it (didn't notice the redness beforehand, it could have been there, i just wasn't paying attention). She said it could be Lyme disease. See photo:

ion for Doxycycline100 mg, twice per day for 10 days. So started taking the anti-biotics that Friday night. Started feeling tired May 21st.
Here is the bruise’s progression: Saturday:

https://imgur.com/a/jfxkav2 I was also taking 2x Aleve a day leading up to the trip as my lower back was hurting which could have contributed to the bruise.
My PCP took a look at my bruise, said it was that, most likely a bruise. I took the Lyme test on May 22nd and came back the next day as negative and my PCP told me to stop taking the doxy so i did (i took 11x 100mg doses). Still felt tired and i brushed it off as anxiety. My PCP said i could take the Lyme test next week again to be sure.
But i'm still very tired and since this Saturday my heart rate has been rapid constantly and on off palpitations. I got seen from my rapid heart beat on Tuesday and they did an EKG which said it was normal but fast. They did a thyroid blood test and that returned normal. They also said the rapid heart beat is unlikely to be caused by Lyme as Lyme does the opposite, it slows the heart rate down.
Its possible that this is all anxiety based cos i'm worried and anxious about
having a lyme diagnosis and not tackling it early. So i wouldn't mind seeing a LLMD if it helps rule it out or do people think my PCP is right?
Summarizing my symptoms:
· Tiredness from the moment I wake up until I go to bed even though I’m getting at least 7.5hrs sleep a night (I’m generally a bad sleeper so it’s a little unusual I’m sleeping so well)
· Heart Palpitations both Saturday and Monday this weekend and for small periods when i wake up and get up straight away to go to the bathroom.
· Rapid heartbeat. Resting it’s between 76-90 bpm (my normal resting for me is about
67 bpm), when I sleep my bpm is 67 it’s only in the day time it rises. Walking around or standing my bpm can reach mid-120s. The 10 min walk into work day today resulted in 141 bpm. I’m a reasonably fit guy, when on the cross trainer, I rarely go over high 120’s bpm.
· Dark circles forming under eyes
· Slight headaches occasionally in the past two weeks
· My sinus have been bad the past 2 weeks too
· Arms and legs will twitch as I fall asleep
· I have a bit of indigestion the past couple of days, burping somewhat frequently after eating
