Hi all,
I have a rare opportunity to (safely) try Myo-Inositol Trispyrophosphate.
It is a membrane-permeant allosteric regulator sometimes used in race horses to increase their endurance.
I'm doing very well with BVT, and so I have no real reason to try it besides hoping that by doing so, I might be able to help other Lymies with my findings.
What do you guys think of this substance?
Is it worth taking one for the team?
There are very little studies on it.
Things I found:
- ITPP is a membrane-permeant allosteric regulator of hemoglobin that mildly reduces its oxygen-binding affinity, which shifts the oxygen-hemoglobin dissociation curve to the right and thereby increases oxygen release from the blood into tissue.
So one of my question becomes: how do spirochetes react to an increase in oxygen into tissue?
Surely this must at least harm them somewhat?
