Hi, Astronomer:
Following are a few links that you may find helpful. The first two are specific articles and the third one is an archive of other articles.
https://rawlsmd.com/health-conditions/lyme-diseasehttps://rawlsmd.com/health-articles/just-how-reliable-are-lyme-disease-lab-testshttps://rawlsmd.com/health-articlesThe author is William "Bill" Rawls, MD. You can read more about
him here:
https://rawlsmd.com/abouthttps://rawlsmd.com/health-articles/my-chronic-lyme-disease-journeyWhile I don't personally agree with him on everything, I think he writes some helpful, grounded articles. From what I can tell, he's not prone to hysteria or conjecture.
After having been affected by Lyme Disease, Dr. Rawls started (and still operates) an herbal supplement company and published a few books on Lyme Disease. I only mention those as a disclaimer, as his RawlsMD.com website and books suggest the use of supplements -- some of which his company sells.
Of course, if one wanted to purchase any (non-proprietary blends of) supplements mentioned on his websites or in his books, they need not buy them from Dr. Rawls. Rather, they could purchase corresponding products from any number of other vendors and/or websites, after comparing dosing, standardization, quality, and price.
This is my long-winded way of saying: "Check out some of Dr. Rawls' articles, because I think he's level-headed. Also, be advised that he manufactures and sells supplements, not that it's necessarily a bad thing."
I wish you good luck on your path.
