Update on my Abx treatment.
I am seeing quick improvements after just 4 days of Rocephin IM and Doxycycline. I have more energy and a clear head. Not as fatigued and depressed as before, less of inflammation. And no herx.

Is this normal to get such quick improvement? Or is it just a teaser waiting for relapses? Does this mean I have hope to get completely well soon?

My LLMD had me do Igenix test, It came CDC and Igenix negative for both Bb and Bart criteria. Only one IgM band 23 found for Bb. And IgG for Bart spp genus, no specific species.

Bb Igenix 23+, 31 Ind, 41 Ind.
Bart ssp Wester blot IgG positive.

It can be a bumpy road - ups and downs but just after 4 days of treatment - having improvement is something to celebrate!

It’s hard to predict how long it will take - but you are heading in the right direction.
Just be prepared that there can be some setbacks along the way.

Keep doing what you’re doing - it’s working!

Band 23 on WB is specific to lyme.
