I haven't stayed on top of the trends in testing for lyme. I'm wondering what would be the best test to do for someone who might be dealing with an early infection (strong fatigue and pain for just 1 week). Would an Igenex western blot be worth trying to do or is there another test that's considered better in the acute phase now.
Thanks!
That’s the one I’d recommend.
IgM and IgG .
Some llmd’s are doing the newer Igenex tests - IGXSpot and the immunoblot that are similar to the Armin Labs tests.
But the best bang for the buck is the WB IgM and IgG for $250
