Dealing with mold exposure when visiting my mother for 5 nights

I have stayed here for 2 nights and had a lot of brain inflammation that I normally dont have when going here.

I located a mattress that is from a basement from a house nearby where the basement have smelled musty. We took it down after the first night from attic and she had it there for a few months.

The mattress have been standing inside near the entrance to the apartment. When moving it back to the attic I noticed a lot of brain inflammation. I then moved it again to the hall to reduce cross contamination and reacted a lot again.

What can I do? I didnt bring anything like Sacro b or oil of oregano to kill, but I will take those when I get home in 3 days.
I will take a lot of binders and detox with epsom foot baths, oil pulling and work out outside daily until I leave.
We have had the balcony door open to air out the mold.
Should I put my stuff outside also to air them now? I will do that the last day when I leave but maybe good to do that now also. And put most things outside also when I get home?
I want to minimize bringing mold with me.

Starting at the university in 18 days so not the best timing.

I am so sorry. Is she willing to get rid of the moldy mattress? If so, have someone else wrap the mattress in shrink wrap and get it out of the house and away from the building.

Yes put your stuff outside in the sun. Wash everything in borax and hot water just before you leave there. If you drove, you may want to buy a plastic bin to put your stuff in or shrink wrap your suitcase after wiping it down. If you can get Everclear grain alcohol, you can mix 1 part Everclear with 7 parts distilled water. You can use vodka if you can’t get Everclear. Use that to wipe.

When you get home, put everything out in the sunshine for a while and re-wash anything washable in borax and hot water again. Keep everything out of the house until it’s washed. Then put those items in a place separate from your other belongings and watch how you react to the items.

Is there a neighbor you could stay with while you’re there who doesn’t have mold?

The mattress is put away already in the hall near the attic. She lives in an apartment on bottom floor. So the mattres is 3 floors up and my sister will get rid of it on Monday. Thankfully im already feeling better.

Im taking 2 flights home so no possibilty to those things.
Im in a small village so not able to buy any of those things, not even vodka.

But I should put a lot of my things outside tomorrow in the sun. We have a thing for clearing mold at home that I should use.

No where to stay except for taking in a Hotel in a nearby city. But as Im feeling better I will stay here.
