The key is to exercise enough to increase blood flow but not enough to cause too much of an increase in acid.
The only exercise I do is walking. Is simply walking enough to increase blood flow? I’m guessing too much muscle flexing (fast, repetitious movements, squats, etc) would cause increase in acid, no???

Oranges and citrus fruits are good but have too much acidity to eat in volume.
What about
the perpetually recommended lemon water for detox and alkalinization? I’ve never understood how something acidic like lemon, apple cider vinegar, or Alka-Seltzer Gold are supposed to alkalinize the body. I have high lactic acid. Would these things alkalinize my body or only make me more acidic? Same for Vit C ascorbic acid supplementation.
Walking is usually not enough to increase blood flow. It takes more effort and in my case, the ball and socket joints were the most affected. There is a fine line between not enough and too much and that depends on detox abilities. Yoga may be a better option as stretching can really help those joints.
Lemons can be alkalizing but oranges are acidic. I can only handle one orange a day and if I do more, I'll have either gout like symptoms (when eating meat) or a kidney stone.
