I have been taking Biocidin LSF for 5 days now and feel absolutely nothing. I started with 1 pump a day for 2 days, then 1 pump twice a day for two days then 1 pump 3 times a day.

My symptoms haven't gotten any better, and I haven't noticed any herx.

Still have tons of light headedness, extreme fatigue, headaches, neck pain, etc.

How long does something like this take to start working? Right now it is my only supplement I am taking besides Vitamin D, B12, and then propanolol for POTS.

What infection is it supposed to target? I’m not familiar with it

I bought this stuff when you brought it up some time back. I still haven’t tried it. Give us an update again on it.

My daughter used biocidin for five months. Our dr at the time recommended it for biofilms. It is not cheap so we are taking a break from it now going on a month.
Can I see a difference? I do t know. So much is going on with herxes and symptoms I can’t tell what’s what really.

I can say our new LLMD did have positive to say about it but also said we could take a break from it, like not necessary (so maybe indifferent).

We made some other changes at the same time and I have seen some symptoms starting to get worse, so could be that it was helping. Wish I knew more to help!

Just a quick update..

I woke up the past few days with a pretty bad headache, which isn't all that usual, however, today it's awful. It's in the back of my head/neck area.. my other symptoms are worse too, dizziness, eye twitching, weakness/fatigue.

Maybe this is a herx, but who knows. I'm on about two full weeks of taking it. Would it take that long for a herx to start?

I never know if its just been a bad few days of sx or if I'm going through a herx. I usually tell myself it's a herx to make everything feel like "good pain" lol.

I finally opened my bottle of Biocidin yesterday and squirted a little in a spoon and took it. I noticed nothing yesterday, but earlier today I had bad foot pain and weakness in my feet and ankles along with increased joint pain in fingers, one shoulder and one elbow. Could be coincidence. I’ll wait until Saturday to try it again.

I can’t believe no one has ever commented on the smell and taste. I have strong chemical sensitivities, with fragrance being my worst trigger. I unscrewed the pump nozzle and smelled the stuff. It smells like FRAGRANCE. I felt like I was drinking perfume. This stuff better be worth it!!!

Actually, I just wanted to commend your intestinal fortitude and wish you good luck!

I also have strong chemical sensitivities and perfume -- or, in this case, something that smells like perfume -- will make me sick to my stomach and usually trigger a migraine. In some cases, depending on the dose I accidentally inhale from whoever had previously bathed in it and later crossed my path, I can taste it. The smell can linger in my sinuses for hours. Diesel exhaust is just as bad, as are scented candles, air "fresheners," exhaust from a clothes dryer (barf!), anti-static dryer sheets (like Bounce), scented soaps, hair spray, and on and on. I know you can relate!

Essential oils do bother me. My first doctor - the one who diagnosed me with CIRS - sold soap in her office. The smell was 10x stronger than regular soap. It was brutal having to go there. She knew it bothered me and made no effort to accommodate my sensitivities. She should be ashamed of herself - a holistic doctor treating mold patients with chemical sensitivities and selling scented “natural” stuff in the office. Complete insensitivity to patients’ disabilities, let alone common sense.

My biological dentist diffuses doTERRA oils in his office. I usually unplug it when I come in. The clove didn’t bother me as bad, but the last time he had some flowery smelling stuff. Awful.

I was able to use bug spray with essential oils and used orange drops in my cleaning solution.

Dude - do you react the same way to essential oils? I'm not as severe as you and WBF on your sensitivities, and EOs don't bother me.

Well, I'm not 100% sure, because I try to buy everything unscented. Two exceptions that come to mind that don't seem to bother me are:

* Dr. Bronner's Liquid Peppermint Soap (I believe it has essential oils)
* Shea Butter and Neem Body Wash (scented with passion fruit extract)

That's really crummy, having to be exposed to that stuff!

There are a few stores I can't visit, due to the use (excessive use, in fact) of air fresheners. Or, the bathroom in a restaurant either has a Glade Plug-In or a wall-mounted dispenser that's up high and has a metal canister inside it full of a foul-smelling fragrance.

Without exception, the Glade Plug-Ins go into the trash can. If I can open the wall-mounted dispenser and remove that canister, I stuff it full of paper towels and carefully place it in the garbage and take care not to spill it. Then, I wash my hands a few times.

That stuff is bad news.
