It is amazing to me that they focus on trace amounts of cancer causing agents in medications when there are 100's of cancer causing agents in things we eat and use every day and nothing gets said about them.
I don’t doubt it. I don’t know which agents cause cancer, but I would imagine all the fragrance and chemicals in every single household item from personal care products to cleaners to appliances, furnishings, and building materials are capable of causing cancer or other harm. I was looking at appliances the other day and the salesman told me that one brand is now putting scented materials built into their front loading washing machines, no doubt to mask the smell of mold that will be inevitable if the owner doesn’t take precautions. Nothing gets said about
it, because of $$$ and political implications.
To add insult to injury, anything that is organic, non-toxic, non-GMO, etc, is more expensive in spite of far fewer ingredients and processing. How is that possible? Need non-toxic furnishings? Only the wealthy could afford it, and it’s ugly to boot. For the chemically sensitive who need to avoid all of that across the board and are disabled by it and on limited income can’t afford to. There’s something very wrong with that.
Everybody thinks cancer is the worse thing that can happen to you. I don’t feel that way anymore.
