Anyone taking liothyronine and rifampin?

I was going to ask dr at next appt about more intense bartonella treatment since that has not yet been a focus for my daughters treatment. However, she is taking liothyronine (T3 thyroid med) and I read on the pharmacy insert that rifampin and rifabutin (sp?) are listed as interactions w the medication.

Just wondering if anyone here is taking both.

My pharmacist didn't say they interact. I almost went on it but did not.

I guess I’ll still ask then. Maybe that is why she hasn’t been put on rifampin yet, idk.

I try to limit my list of questions and prioritize what we discuss which is why I asked. Thank you

The interaction is the Rifampin can change the effectiveness of the liothyronine according to the drug interaction checker I use.
