I personally wouldn't do it every day as your body builds up a tolerance to it, then you'll have to increase dosage and it's basically good to know where your pain is at sometimes, it's the way your mind measures the healing process. If a drug is masking those symptoms, it may be hard to tell if one is making progress with an antibiotic or coinfections.
I think cbd oil, curcumin/turmeric, and fish oil are much better long term, along with the side effects.
Kind of off topic, my LLMD doctor prescribed me valium, for the most part I've been dealing with my bartonella anxiety through other means with magnesium glycinate, epsom salt baths, lemon/baking soda drinks, lots of water, and probiotic pills.
But for the first time, I decided to give in and try valium for a week, whoopise, valium and biaxin don't go well together due to heart arrhythmias and when I switched to rifampin, it basically weakens the valium in the blood big time, which can lead to instant withdrawal symptoms.
I've seen others lyme patients on LymeNet.org say Valium is more addictive than heroin, then I also read this article here
"Drug that steals women's lives: It's more addictive than heroin, with horrifying side-effects. So why, 50 years after its launch, is Valium still given to millions?"
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2289311/valium-its-addictive-heroin-horrifying-effects-given-millions.htmlMy personal feelings are you have to study the outlook of using any of these prescirption drugs longterm, whether it's a pain pill or a benzo for anxiety, considering your body will build up a tolerance, as well as some of these prescript
ions have side effects with the antibiotics you're taking. I think pain pills are safer than something like a benzo when mixing with antibiotics, but it depends which one, as some pain pills are highly addictive and have withdrawal symptoms as well. I personally think the herbs and supplements can offer you more pain relief longterm than something like Celebrex can, that's my opinion, some may disagree.
Do a search on "celebrex lyme" on HealingWell.com and LymeNet.org, see what's said, many use these prescript
ion drugs and have major success, other severe side effects and can't tolerate them, feel too toxic.
I know many lyme patients even find benefit using Kratom for pain, but I've heard others also say there's withdrawal symptoms as well.
