Planet Fitness doesn’t mention sauna, but they do have 2 amenities I am curious about.

Total Body Enhancement is red light in a standup booth with a vibrating foot platform. Red light therapy supposedly “stimulates natural repair and reduces inflammation.”

Hydromassage

Anybody used these? Does it help? Hurt? Herx? Warnings?

im a member of PF too - i haven't used any of that stuff yet - i do have a night infra red light in my bathroom by coincidence lol - it was already in there when i moved in this apartment smile

i have yet to try either but im curious - about that section - its for "black card" members which i dont think i am

I remember someone posting exactly about the Total Body Enhancement here in the last two years....maybe three. They might not have called it that though.

In the past, Ive used the vibtrating platform in another gym. Stand, sit, squat- whatever. It was uncomfortable. I decided manual rolling was better for me. You might like it though. I doubt the light does anything, very weak.. If it were strong enough to do anything, it would prob require you to move around as to not get "burnt".

A chi machine is slightly similar but your laying horizontal with your feet in it gently vibrating even your upper body- soothing vs the standing thing.

Thx. I am not a gym member. I just looked online to see if they had a sauna. All they listed were these 2 items.

What I read sounded like you could turn off the lights but not the vibration. I was interested in the lights but concerned about the vibration.
