Thanks. The alcohol tinctures I'm using now are 10 drops Cherry Bark and about
16 drops Pinella per day.

I do the Japanese Knotweed in powder and like that so might try some others in powder also or try glycerin. I did send a message off to my PA about
Flagyl with alcohol tinctures, and she recommended against using them together. Thanks again.

It really depends on the person. Both Flagyl and TindaMax have warnings that these meds "MAY" cause antibuse reaction when taking alcohol. I pulsed TindaMax every Monday and Tuesday for over ten months. At first I held off having a drink in Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, then after a month or so had a drink on Wednesday with no ill effects. The I went as far as having a glass of wine on same day as taking it and felt no ill effects.
There is so little alcohol in a tincture, it should be a problem. Just use caution and reduce dosage to test for any reaction.

Just separate the tinctures from the Flagyl by several l hours should be fine.
As tickbite stated - it’s such a small amount of alcohol in the tinctures anyway.
I’ve taken 6 or 7 tinctures at a time (1/4 tsp) and have never felt any alcohol effects -( a few hours from Flagyl.)
Edit - Good idea to discuss with your dr .

I was taking an alcohol based tincture when taking Tinidazole, so small amounts may not pose a problem for me but will be cautious anyway. Don't really want extra symptoms!
Thanks for the replies. It helps.
