You both hits points that I have heard contradictions with for years.
When first finally diagnosed with Lyme in 2013, it was all based on IgG. I think it was 4 bands, rather than the "required" 5. But there was no doubt it was Lyme, based on symptoms. It all finally made sense after years of looking for what was wrong.
Then we see where IgM is current, which would then make sense that IgG is past. But if past is not really past, what is the difference? The hematologist has scheduled me to see an infectious disease doctor because the EBV Igm is so high, along with my IgG tests for EBV. The IgM keeps getting higher, and the IgG is not going down. Not trying to make this just about my situation, as I've read so many people thrown by the dagnostic difference between the two.
And I'm trying to figure out where the quote is from, Girlie. Harry Potter?
