Can anyone tell me which co-infection causes tremors or is it the Lyme spirochete? They are mainly in my mother's legs when she wakes up.

Could be any one of them. But my guess would be Lyme or Bartonella.

I get spasms from time to time that will create a buzzing in a spot on a leg, like a mini spasm. But your mom's legs actually shake?

I do know Lyme can cause that. It's neurological Lyme, if that is the cause. But I've read where Bartonella can also cause that. Perhaps someone else can give you more detailed information. But Lyme for sure.

I got leg tremors - but only when I was using them - because of weakness.
So just sitting in a chair I didn’t have leg tremors (but I did have hand tremors)

Just prior to leaving my job - I was stopped at a red light and my legs were shaking so bad out of weakness - I thought I may not be able to keep the brake pressed.

It was at that point I stopped working and my doc sent me to a Neurologist.
Scarey times.

I don’t know if it was lyme or bart.

I would expect Lyme, bart, or mold. I’ve had tremors from mold and also either Lyme or bart.

Yes, her legs actually shake a bit only for a few seconds and they will shake again maybe 20 or 30 mins later. Only when in the early morning, it wakes her up. Not during the day. Thanks for your input everyone.
