RainyCloud I'm worried your progressing too quickly with you're dosages. The prescribing llmds are usually having their patients stay at each level for 2 weeks and then only increasing if they feel they aren't herxing anymore (at their current level). A

And you don't have to double your dose every time you increase it. Consider going up in increments of 62.5 instead.

If there's one thing Ive learned while self treating it is that their is no shame in not sticking to my original plan. You can always step back or take days off.

I just want to express how much I appreciate it.

In terms of the Disulfiram, yes I'm going pretty fast.
And the concerns are legitimate.
To be honest, I'm going back and forth between what to do (slow vs fast).

The thing is, I have some time off from work and so if I ever build up my tolerance, now would be the time.
But then on the other hand, I share the concerns you are expressing and so I feel very conflicted.

So far the herxes haven't been bad at all. I feel more clear headed and am starting to feel improvement.

I should mention, I did bee venom therapy before disulfiram and had good success with that.
Maybe that's why the herxes are a bit easier on me.

Or maybe it's going to kick in anytime now and I will regret thinking positively like this.

I will take everything you all said to heart and do some thinking about what to do.

What dose are you at skinny_joe? How have you been tolerating it?

Currently 63mg daily every third day I take 125mg about 7 weeks. Its given me more fatigue. Most my pain in muscle pain and some neoropathy in my foot. None have gotten worse but I havent seen much improvement.

Hey all, as time has gone on, the joint pain has died down, though I’ll have the odd day where it comes back for a bit, I would say more often than not I don’t have any.

Right now I’m 2/3 weeks in on 500mg and I’m just extremely fatigued. Light sensitivity, sound sensitivity, the head pressure have all died down but remain, but I’m just always tired. I’m guessing this is my herx that will last for a few more weeks before I hit an upswing there as well.

Eye floaters which are the most annoying symptoms remain. Can anyone tell me if there’s have died down?

Anxiety/depression have also died down big time. I would be anxious pretty much doing anything so all good signs.

I’m just waiting for the day when it all disappears. I’ve been this patient, we all have, but I’m confident all that a few more months and we will all be free.

enteric capsules

is there a cheap way to do these?
do I crush my existing disulfiram and put in the capsule?
or buy pre-made enteric capsules? is it affordable?

I've been fitting 62.5 mg in a size 0 capsule. Just putting pill chunks in there by hand.

I considered trying to seal them with beeswax, but instead I decided to just order 00 size enteric capsules and double them up that way.

Not sure how well they hold up going through the stomach. If anything I think they could use even more protection. I'm sure they work much better when they come from a legit pharmacy.

It's day 8 of disulfiram for me.
Just took 500mg again.

Am doing good.
Floaters in my eye seem to be decreasing.
General sense of well being is slowly improving.
Felt a bit more clear minded.
God is good.

Day 1 - November 16: 62.5mg
Day 2 - November 17: 125mg
Day 3 - November 18: 125mg
Day 4 - November 19: 125mg
Day 5 - November 20: 125mg
Day 6 - November 21: 250mg
Day 7 - November 22: 500mg
Day 8 - November 23: 500mg <---- today.

My Ibudilast arrives tomorrow, am excited about it.
Have been taking a lot of turmeric and ginger.
Also drinking a LOT of water.

Wow, this stuff gets stored in fat.

I had not taken any disulfiram in a few days and I was feeling fine. Yesterday I did not eat much. I went to bed, then suddenly I wake up in the middle of the night having weird dreams and herxing.

This is like having flashbacks from some bad drugs.

Yeah if Disulfiram is the silver bullet to lyme, Turmeric is the silver bullet to Disulfiram! it was a major factor in reducing my herx. I have not had any neuropathy signs for over a week. That and Magnesium, Zinc, seem to be factors as well.

I am taking 50mg zinc but my new brand is 20mg and seems to work as well.

This weekend I am trying Serrapeptase from a previous post. Thanks who suggested this! I'm giving it a try. Apparently its the enzyme extracted from silkworms to break out of their cocoon. The reviews were amazing for it. I have no idea if it will do anything for me, or if it will do something amazing and then ware off.

Please take my word for it, oregonhay is on to something here.

I genuinely agree that turmeric curcumin is what makes DSF bearable, possibly ginger too.

UnsightlyCignet, hi friend, I will post about what type of turmeric to take a little later tonight (just got home).

I did a ton of research on it a couple months ago and would love to share what I've learned.

My advice to anyone reading this is to take oregonhay's advice and start taking turmeric curcumin.

I don’t know about brand. It’s made from my pharmacy by hand I think.

I’m three weeks in on 500mg, I was on it for a few weeks on and off because herx was bad and now I’m on it consistently and can’t tell what’s herx anymore.

Everything hurts. I wonder if I go cold turkey that this is all die off and it will be like the sky opening up.

And no, eye floaters are still there. More than a year and still there lol.
