Ceftin, Zithromax, bactrim combo

My daughter has been on same antibiotics 7 months. LLMD removed minocycline and replaced it w ceftin.

She will now be on ceftin, Zithromax, bactrim. I haven’t seen that combo anywhere here. Is it fine to remove mino?

Thoughts on this combo. I did ask about rifampin for Bart. She really wanted to get ceftin in there.

I was on Ceftin and Bactrim for Bartonella. It was helpful for me several years ago. Now am in a recurrence and I had to get off Bactrim.

The Bactrim depleted my kidneys of salt. BP crashes.

How long did you take the combo before seeing some good results? I know the bactrim is really strong and I thought I’d read the ceftin was also, so a bit concerned about taking the two together plus the Zithromax.
I dread the herx for her. Anything new...

I’ve been on Ceftin for quite awhile.
As far as I can tell - it’s not too bad - I don’t find it harsh/strong

But of course we’re all different and sometimes a person responds/reacts differently to a medication.
