Hi all,

So I've been doing Salvia and Chinese Skullcap and noticing what appears to be herxes, changes, and new symptoms.

One of them...& this is bordering on TMI...painful rectal spasms.

Anyone familiar and have knowledge, I was awokened last night and wanted to cry.

I have what I call "pelvic spasms", though your term may be more accurate.smile They can be very painful for me and tend to happen more often than not shortly before a BM. I have other pelvic symptoms and tend to think they are infection related in my case.

So I just started Skullcap and Salvia two days ago, havent noticed anything other than a slight headache that came and went. What other symptoms have you had?

UnsightlyCygnet & Christian w/Lyme- fortunately, I've not had problems with bowel or bladder control but def spasms in that region. Painful! I've not noticed too many other issues with digestion, than my usual. For me, this felt like sharpness and swelling and didn't precede needing to use the lav.

dcd2103-think it depends on the person and person's symptoms. My symptoms were necks/throat spasms, tingling, weakness in my arms, nerve pain, just to name a few, facial numbness/spasms. I noticed the weakness eased up some in my arms but moved to my fingers. Tightness in one of my arm muscles eased up.

UnsightlyCygnet- possibly I've noticed improvement. It's def made noticeable changes much more than the Bicillin. But I have a long way to go.

Too, I've decided, I'm having my amalgam fillings removed. There's only so many ABX a person can take, it may not do much, but at least I'll feel comfortable knowing I did all I could.

How are you doing?

I have it too. I think it could be related to pelvic floor dysfunction or possibly parasites.

Are your attacks mainly at night. It’s pretty darn painful at times. I went without an attack all summer after taking albendazole.

Eliza, I could have sworn in the past you said that you thought the Bicillin helped you?

I’m going on my 3rd week if Bicillin, I think I herx 2 days after every injection, so really took comfort in your words that it was helping, but now it sounds like you’re not that into it?

Funny we are on the same regimen (Bicillin, Chinese skullcap and Salvia)

For symptom relief, I would try a CBD suppository.

And never apologize for your body doing its bodily things! smile No shame here.

Drinking lots of water sometimes helps during attacks (some think dehydration causes). I take cbd orally, it may help some.

dcd2103-im like you, those Bicillin shots last for about two days and wear off. I realize though after the Salvia and Skullcap I'm sicker bc I have more symptoms now and they've migrated in some ways and improved in others. My LLMD told me it takes about six rounds to notice a difference.

Saraeli & kO7 thanks for the tips about the CBD and keeping hydrated! Cheers!

UnsightlyCygnet- I hope so too. Yeah, I'm so mad at the medical and dental establishment I could scream! But don't have the energy to go off on a tangent. Either way fillings are coming out! Best wishes! Eliza or ElizaK are fine!

Think I'm going to have to stop the Salvia, woke up today on my 3rd day taking it with a super upset stomach and nausea, which got extremely worse after I took my morning dose. Read online it can cause upset stomach, so I'm thinking this is what did it.

Anyone have a suggestion what to replace it with? Using it for nerve regeneration, so thinking maybe Gou Teng? Thoughts Cignet?

That's a shame dcd2103, it wasn't the right right fit. Yeah, maybe Gou Teng ? Best!
