Are herbals and or antibiotics killing Lyme even when...

Are herbals or antibiotics killing off Lyme bacteria and or co-infections even when someone isn't having a herx reaction? I understand that the herx reactions come and go. You just have a herx when there is an abundance of die-off and the body can't get rid of them fast enough, is this correct?
