Is shortness of breath a herx reaction or babesia returning?

My mom has had her shortness of breath returning this past week or so. Is this a herx reaction or Babesia returning? Her hemoglobin back in Aug was 11.1 and now Dec 17th it was 10.9, she is on herbals only through a LLND and the dosage hasn't changed. We just don't want the Babesia to be making a return. When she started the herbals for Babesia at the end of Aug, the shortness of breath went away after two weeks, around mid Sept. Any thoughts? She is doing detox daily.

I got that from bartonella. I got shortness of breath when the infection was active. The herx caused dark urine (bilirubin). The bilirubin was also detectable on a CMP.
