I've been self-treating with Disulfiram for about 3 months now, taking 50 mg of zinc daily and eating a diet somewhat low in copper. I'm curious about my copper levels and I think I may spring for a copper blood test the next time I go in for blood work.
There is also a urine test for copper available that is $20 more than the blood test, and an even more expensive intracellular (RBC) test...
Anyone know if the regular blood test would be sufficient? Just want to make sure I'm not too low I guess. Maybe I should check zinc as well?
