Has anybody been on oral Amphotericin B?

My doc wants me to take it alongside Nystatin and Fluconazole for mold. I paid for a month supply to be shipped from a compounding pharmacy.

It’s also used for Yeast.

How long did you use it? Did you take other anti-fungals along with it? Did you have any sde effects from it?

I never used it... lol

I believe I read about it in one of LLMD MR’s (Seattle) articles.

I wonder if Piroutte wrote on it in the Candida thread (“New to Lyme...Start Here”)

LOL!!! I misread your post. I thought you said you used it for yeast. I thought that was odd, since you have said you never had any gut issues, LOL!!

You’re right - no gut issues but I’ve suspected a yeastie a couple times in the past several months.
Shame on me for not being diligent with the two days a month Diflucan that’s been prescribed by my LLMD.

it was offered for a suspected fungal lung infection .ive heard it called amphiterrible ... keep an eye on your liver plz . hoping it may help if thats your lead pathogen
